FAQs – Sunday Service
1. Can I bring my baby or toddler?
Yes. Babies and toddlers are very welcome. You can sit anywhere with your child.
You are still part of the service. It is normal for toddlers to move around during the service.
2. Do I need to dress smartly?
No. Please wear what feels comfortable. Some people wear jackets and ties. Others wear jeans and jumpers.
3. How long is the service?
The service usually lasts about one hour. If you need to leave early, that is fine. If you arrive late, that is also fine.
There is coffee and chatting afterwards. You do not have to stay.
4. Will people crowd me if I am new?
No. We are friendly and welcoming. Someone will greet you at the door. If you need help, someone will help you. If you want to sit quietly on your own, we will respect that.
5. I don’t usually go to church. Will I know what to do?
That's okay. We either use a hymn book or the screen for words. Some people stand to sing. Some people stay sitting. You can join in as much or as little as you like.
6. Can I get a lift to church?
Yes. We offer a free taxi service for church activities. Please speak to someone at the church to arrange this.
7. Do I need to bring money?
If you wish to donate some money, a collection plate is by the door
8. Are all services the same?
Some services are different:
Traditional Service: Traditional music and preaching.
Communion Service: Led by our minister. Includes Holy Communion. Everyone is welcome to take part.
Different people lead services, so each one feels a little different.
